Joshua M. Freeman Center for Athletic Achievement

The Carl M. Freeman Foundation supported the development of the Joshua M. Freeman Center for Athletic Achievement at Landon.  Josh was an alumnus of the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland - as well as a Landon parent and Board member.  Landon School was a very special place for Josh and the Freeman family and this gift continues Josh’s legacy and represents his passion for personal development and physical challenges through athletics.  This state-of-the-art fitness facility was completed in 2008 and is a true testament to Josh's love of wellness and community.

Building A Legacy at Landon

“As we work together over the coming months to build the [Joshua M. Freeman Center for Athletic Achievement], we do so much more than create a lasting memorial to him.  We will engender in our boys though this new facility a life-long appreciation of the importance of a sound body and a sound mind.  In that way, we change their lives forever.”
