2010 JMFF Golf tournament

As a public charity and to continue our commitment to the Arts, the Foundation relies on the support garnered from stage sponsors, as well as from the most exclusive golf event on the shore – The Joshua M. Freeman Golf Tournament. The annual tournament is being held on the weekend of September 11-12, 2010. Save the Date for a fun-filled weekend celebrating the art of golf. We kick off the weekend on Saturday with a kids performance at The Freeman Stage, followed by the invitation only Arts by the Sea evening event. The special event culminates on Sunday with a shotgun start at Bayside’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. This will be a can’t miss weekend…supporting a great cause while having an unforgettable time.

Saturday, September 11th
8:00am – 6:00pm:  Practice Rounds available at Bayside Resort Golf Club
10:00am:  Children’s Performance at The Freeman Stage overlooking the 18th Green at Bayside
6:00pm:  Arts By The Sea: An exclusive event featuring great food and "Bruce in the USA" - the world's best Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band tribute show – plus live and silent auctions to benefit the Foundation.  Tickets are $150 each and can be purchased at: www.freemanstage.org/artsbythesea

Sunday, September 12th
7:30am:   Tournament registration opens and coffee and delicious breakfast begins
9:30am:   Shotgun Start which will begin a spectacular day at Bayside, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course

And, as always, we couldn't make this happen without the generous contributions of our sponsors.  Thank you!

The Freeman Stage at Bayside Brick Program

The Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, on behalf of The Freeman Stage at Bayside, is proud to announce the launch of its new Freeman Stage Brick Program.  The sales of this new engraved paver program will assist the Foundation in its continued efforts of bringing Exceptional Arts Experiences to the Mid-Atlantic.  The Freeman Stage pavers will be a prominent feature at The Freeman Stage and will greet visitors as they enter the grounds near the new Stage Café.  For a tax-deductable gift of as little as $150, local residents and guests can leave a permanent presence at The Freeman Stage at Bayside, and show their commitment for the Arts.

To purchase a brick, or for more information about the new Freeman Stage Brick Program, please visit: www.FreemanStage.org/Brick

Golfing for a Cause

“On the occasion when I was able to join Josh for a round of golf he would often say to me on the tee box of a par three, ‘If I make a hole in one you have to donate $10,000 to the Freeman Foundation.’  Unfortunately for the Foundation he was not that good a golfer but he sure was a good man.”
